The City of Springboro and its Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, BPAC, announces a slate of community bike rides in 2026 in partnership with local businesses. The first ride of 2026, Ride the Handle, will take place on Tuesday, May 5 at Crooked Handle Brewing Company located at 760 North Main Street, SR 741 just north of Dorothy Lane Market.

While this and all other rides planned for 2026 will be at a comfortable pace, the ride is not intended for a first time bicycle rider. There will be hills and you will be responsible for assessing your ability to keep pace while riding in a group and on City streets. Please have your bike in good working order, wear a helmet and bright clothing, and have lights for the front and back of your bike. Assess weather conditions at the time of the ride. While this is a rain or shine event, the ride will not occur in dangerous conditions. The ride should take 60-75 minutes to complete. After the ride join us for pub discounts and a drawing for all ride participants at the brewery.
